Welcoming a child into this world can be exciting but it can also be a difficult and life changing event that did not follow the plan that you expected. You don't have to go through this alone. Support Space also provides services to college students facing any challenges.

Wanting to have a child and unable to, due to various reasons (medical, unexplained, etc) can be heartbreaking. It has been your dream to become a parent yet no matter what you are doing every month you grieve. Together we can explore ways to find hope, release pain, and have a safe place to just process with no judgments.

Pregnancy can be an exciting time; however, it can also be a moment in life that brings stress, fear, challenges and anticipation for the big day. There are many milestones, tests, and symptoms that can make your journey difficult. We can explore all the challenges as well as any difficult decisions you may be facing with pregnancy, birth or after.
What is your birth story?
Everyone who has birthed, adopted, or lost a child has a birth story. Sometimes everything goes according to plan but many times it does not. Taking time to process your birth story can help with releasing the pain, preparing for future births and help you in your current parenting role. There is no time limit, whether you just had your baby or a long time ago.

Parenthood is hard, especially with a newborn! You and potentially your partner are adjusting to a new role, your body is in its 4th trimester, you feel sad, happy, overwhelmed and/or you fill in the blank....You don't have to go through this alone. Reach out for help to get non judgmental support and find happiness in your parenthood journey.
Have you experienced something life changing that has affected you negatively?
Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is a trauma focused support therapy. This is one type of therapy that we can utilize to help process your trauma (there are no limits to how you define trauma). It can be used to decrease symptoms of anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, any type of trauma and more.

I specialize in infertility, pregnancy, postpartum and the college population; however, if you are seeking support for a different reason please don't hesitate to contact me.
